In a surprising crossover event that challenges usual predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including free bonus story content for Shadows players.

According to the formal announcement, "A strange encounter pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where rumors of banned practices and monstrous changes reverberate through the shadows." The narrative presents a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a hidden cult.

The questline concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying adversary" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Transformations

The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview concludes with a striking scene showing a character, probably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Extra Material

Players who finish the mission will obtain an exclusive katana in addition to numerous items hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
